The agricultural company "Piovesan Stefano e Maximum" was set up in the early seventies by Virginio Piovesan, who decided to leave his work as a bar man at Harry's Bar in Venice, to devote himself to his great passion: viniculture. Excellent results were immediately obtained from the cultivation of the first hectares of vineyards, thanks to the nature of the soil and its alluvial characteristics with high levels of limestone debris which constitute a fundamental requirement for the cultivation of vines and for the production of excellent wines.

Our wines

Our selection of wines is the result of our love for the land and our passion for tradition. We preserve the flavours of our fields through the choice of the types of grapes that reflect the territorial identity, in products that bring together history, structure and elegance. In order to ensure the properties of the fruit remain unaltered, we have chosen to harvest the grapes mostly by hand, processing them immediately after sorting, because our company’s strategic ethos is based not on quantity but on the production of carefully selected wines.

The vineyard

Our vineyards are situated in the countryside around Vallio Roncade, where thanks to the alluvial nature of the region and the rich limestone debris, it has become a strategic area for the production of excellent wines in a genuine environment where the traditional characteristics of the Treviso countryside have remained unchanged. We have cultivated our vineyards with passion and dedication for years, respecting the environment by bringing together the knowledge and know-how handed down from generation to generation, surrounding the science of viticulture that has revolutionised modern agriculture.
