Vini Piovesan
Our history
The agricultural company "Piovesan Stefano e Maximum" was set up in the early seventies by Virginio Piovesan, who decided to leave his work as a bar man at Harry's Bar in Venice, to devote himself to his great passion: viniculture. Excellent results were immediately obtained from the cultivation of the first hectares of vineyards, thanks to the nature of the soil and its alluvial characteristics with high levels of limestone debris which constitute a fundamental requirement for the cultivation of vines and for the production of excellent wines.
With the passing of the years, the dedication to this tradition was handed down to the founder's sons, Stefano and Massimo who have continued to believe in this small business situated in the locality of Vallio Roncade (TV), only undertaking single bulk sales of wine as well as the red and white estate grown grapes, greatly enhancing the quality of the wine and preserving all the properties of the fruit. Currently, the sons Mattia and Federico are managing the business along-side their father Stefano bringing an enthusiasm and a spirit of initiative that will contribute to the growth of the company. In addition to modernising the production process, designed to unite new technologies with ancient customs and traditions to produce exceptional wines, they are also aiming to increase its distribution more widely, even into international markets.
